Since graduating from college in 1996 I have been employed as a tax specialist in public accounting and as a tax specialist at an investment advisory firm. I started at a large regional public accounting firm where I was employed for twelve years in its tax and wealth services departments. While there, my career included the preparation and review of tax returns for individuals and various business entities as well as research on complex tax and tax-related accounting issues. My industry specialties include high net-worth individuals, construction, medical professionals, professional athletes, real estate, professional services, and small business owners.

I continued my tax career as a senior tax manager at an investment advisory firm for two years. The firm caters to high net-worth individuals who have an inherent interest in minimizing their tax liability. As part of my responsibility to manage its tax department, I conducted tax planning programs that impacted our clients’ investment strategies. Ultimately I would utilize and implement these strategies in preparing complex tax returns.

My professional qualifications include a Public Accountant’s license and a Bachelor of Science degree in business with an emphasis in accounting.
